Matt and I had so much fun last night at the Big Fake Chicago Wedding at the City View Loft. The whole event was exactly what it sounds like – a fake wedding. Complete with bride and groom, ceremony, reception, everything. It was such a fun alternative to a traditional bridal show. Vendors from Chicago set up booths and gave amazing previews of their products. The space itself was absolutely breathtaking and the pictures that I took really do not do it justice. The space had an almost picture perfect view of the city skyline. We found out about the event through our friend Megan Hollinger who was the featured hair stylist for the wedding party. If you have not heard of Megan, you need to check out her website for some examples of her work. She does the most amazing braids and is such a good stylist. Her work has been featured in Allure and Style Me Pretty. I can not really say enough good things about her because she is so talented and also SO nice.
